Welcome to wilbo666's Wikipedia page.

This Wikipedia is intended to be a collection of useful information that is predominately Automotive based with a significant Electrical and Wiring focus.

Feedback is always welcome so if you come across something that can be improved, or on the other hand you come across something that was particularly helpful drop me a line.

PS:  I'm currently trying to fill my quota of Dropbox referrals to increase my storage, so if you're in a position to create an account and would like to help me out please use this link!

About Me

Hi, my name is William and this is my Wiki.

To give you some of my background, I grew up on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland in Australia where we had 11 acres with some cows, ducks and chickens roaming around.  After finishing high school I moved to Brisbane to study Electrical Engineering and IT at the Queensland University of Technology and graduated in 2005.

After graduating university I worked in a position focused on electronic embedded systems design.  I gained experience in circuit design, circuit assembly, embedded systems programing and testing.

During 2008 I made the decision to broaden my engineering experience and since early 2009  I've been employed by a large multinational mining company located in far North-West Queensland where I have expanded my electrical engineering and project management skills.

In regards to the focus of this Wiki, I've been playing with cars (mainly older Toyota's) since ~2000 when I acquired my first car, a 1981 Toyota Cressida (MX62).  This car was to be the stimulus that was to initiate my learning curve of automotive knowledge.  As a poor uni student I was unable to pay someone to fix my Cressida when it invariably broke down, and as a result found myself forced into research and hands on action to keep the car on the road.  Over time my automotive knowledge grew and I decided to undertake a 'project car' with my expanded knowledge.

While I feel like I've developed a long way from my first car, I still remember the days when I had very little knowledge - this Wiki is an attempt to give back some of the knowledge that has helped me (and may hopefully help you!) along the way.

Cheers

Wilbo

PS, if you feel like you're in a position to offer me a fantastic job / employment, let me know!  Who knows when I might be looking for a new challenge!
